Q: How will the tournament work?

 

A: Tournament will be a standard Draft Pick Summoner's Rift 5v5 game. In the round of 16 and 8, games will be single-game elimination.

 

During the Round of 16 (First round), and Round of 8 (Quarter Final), games will not be spectated or shoutcasted. Captains of versing teams will coordinate date and time and have a best of 1 match in a Draft Pick custom game. Authentication and screenshots must be taken by winning team and sent to a tournament official.

Round of 16 (First Round) - Must play between the dates of Feb.14-21st) and send in proof of victory

 

Round of 8 (Quarter Final) - Must play between the dates of Feb.21st-29th) and send in proof of victory.

 

Semi Final/Final Match have pre-determined time and date. Every team player must make sure they are available at scheduled time (Weekend of March 8/9).

 

The Semi/Final will both be recorded, shoutcasted, and streamed by a tournament official. These games are best of 3.

 

For 3rd place, it will be best of 1 series. Both losers of the Semi-Finals will be invited by a tournament official. This match will take place one hour before the Final matches.

Q: When does registration end?

 

A: January 13th. Announcements will be sent to Team Captains on the first day of single-game eliminations which run from Feb 14-27th.

Q: Is there an entry fee?

 

A: No. All you need is your team, your passion, and sportsmanship.

Q: What happens if we fail to play against our opposing team during scheduled dates?

 

A: During the first 2 rounds, team captains are responsible in setting up a draft pick custom game against their respective opponent. A tournament official will directly contact every captain and give you the user of current match-up. 

 

If a team refuses to play, or both teams cannot come to agreement on a time and date between the tentative schedule date, either one, or both teams will be disqualified.

 

If a team captain is failing to meet the requirements or is avoiding confrontation with a matched opponent, please contact xMrZombie immediately.

Q: Is the tournament live or online?

 

A: Online. Right from the comforts of your own home.

Q: Do all players have to be level 30?

 

A: Yes

Q: How will tournament drafting for teams take place?

 

A: Once we reach maximum amount of teams. All participating teams will be drawn from a "random hat" live on cam. This will determine bracket and scheduling for the tournament.

Q: Do I have to be from the Philadelphia area to play/join?

Q: How do we determine who gets Blue/Purple side?

 

A: For Semi-Final/Final, a host will flip a coin at random. For games prior to this, it is up to team captains to fairly flip a code or come to

an agreement.

Q: What happens if someone disconnects/has technical difficulties?

 

A: Either team is welcome to pause the game until the situation is resolved. Under no circumstance should either team ask to start over or make a new game because of one of the above issues.

Q: Can we make roster/sub changes to our team?

 

A: It is of the utmost importance that the players you select for your team and subs are going to available for your scheduled dates. No changes will be allowed after the tournament begins.
